I've been away from the blog for over six months after setting out on my own. It's been a interesting journey so far and am still convinced this was very much the right decision.
As well as a little coding gem I'd like to share there's a couple more posts in-progress that I should be able to get out the door over the next week. I've got a post related to my experiences of using Freelancer.ph in conjunction with the website redevelopment project, and some observations from last Novembers trip to Miami & Cape Canaveral.
It's also been tricky balancing getting to know some new friends such as SQLS 2012, Azure and K2 Blackpearl which has left little time for writing down thoughts and observations.
I've also got a post about Surface, Xbox One / Xbox 360, Windows Phone and Windows 8 brewing as the majority of the negative commentary out there is questionable. Every product has it's foibles but there's some complaints about shortfalls in functionality based in myth.
